Stellantis Is Spending Big to Move Inventory This Summer

Jeep, Ram, and Dodge dealers now have manufacturer incentives topping $6,000 on multiple models as lots stay crowded into late July.

Stellantis just rolled out some of the fattest incentive packages we've seen in 2026. If you've been eyeing a Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ram 1500, or Dodge Durango, this is your moment.

Manufacturer cash is hitting $6,500 on the Grand Cherokee L and $5,500 on select Ram 1500 crew cabs. The Durango is getting $4,800 in rebates, and even the Wrangler, which almost never gets serious discounts, has $2,000 on the hood for certain trims. These programs run through August 4, and we expect them to stick around longer if inventory doesn't move.

Why the sudden generosity? Stellantis has 120 days of supply sitting on dealer lots, well above the industry average of 65 days. They built too many vehicles in Q1 and Q2, betting on demand that didn't materialize. Their problem is your opportunity.

What You Should Do

If you're shopping for a three-row SUV or a half-ton truck, get quotes from multiple Stellantis dealers this week. Stack the manufacturer incentive with dealer discounts and any loyalty rebates if you currently own a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, or Ram vehicle. You should be able to negotiate at least $8,000 off MSRP on a Grand Cherokee L without breaking a sweat.

Don't sleep on financing either. Stellantis is offering 2.9% APR for 60 months on several models, which beats the current average new car rate of 6.8%. If you have strong credit, that rate will save you thousands over a typical loan.

One warning: avoid the plug-in hybrid versions. The federal tax credit situation is still messy for Stellantis PHEVs, and you don't want to gamble on a $7,500 credit that might not process cleanly. Stick with the gas models where the deals are straightforward and the savings are guaranteed.
